Problem statement:
*Ads from China were over-indexing on ad policy violations.
*We needed to incentivize ad resellers (who buy ads from Meta and resell them to advertisers in China) to reduce ad policy violations.
Solution:
We created 3 new metrics to track reseller’s health in terms of ad integrity, and a dashboard so they could track their performance in these metrics.
What I did:
*Created the names and definitions of 3 highly nuanced new metrics along with 3 benchmarks and 4 enforcement zones
* Stepped up as project lead in the absence of a product manager
*Stakeholder management. Approval of the metrics and designs involved 7 different functions including legal, privacy, data science, content, and public relations.
